The Personal Excellence Awards “recognise individuals who have demonstrated excellence in their profession during the past 12 months. The awards seek to reward individuals at all levels of an organisation who have contributed to the development and deployment of innovative IT systems that improve business operations or enhance public services.”
Specifically, the Business Analyst of the Year is awarded to an individual responsible for the definition of requirements and solutions for improving business processes and systems, reducing their costs, enhancing their sustainability, and quantifying potential business benefits.
Over the past year, Gabor has delivered key business analysis work on a complex Finance and Procurement Transformation programme successfully introducing a cutting-edge, cloud-based ERP solution servicing over 10 sites in US, Asia, and Europe.
Through his work on various processes in the Procurement workstream, he has demonstrated exemplary professionalism, using innovative approaches to business analysis and delivering measurable success for Searchlight Consulting clients. In addition, he continues to be recognised as a role model for others on the programmes that he works on.
Diane Bolton, Global Sourcing Director for Searchlight’s client Abcam, described him as a “true asset” and praised “his relentless passion and commitment which ensured every detail was addressed. His attention to detail was second to none.”
Bryan Oak, COO of Searchlight Consulting commented “Being recognised as a finalist in these prestigious national awards is a fantastic achievement for Gabor personally and for us as an independent consulting business. It reflects both the quality of work that we deliver for our clients and emphasises the calibre of individual that we pride ourselves on having in our organisation.”
The Team at Searchlight Consulting would just like to say “thank you” to Gabor for his contribution and wish him every success at September’s judging day in Manchester, and we are looking forward to celebrating his success at the Awards dinner in November
