Rob has worked in the Technology and Consulting sector for 25 years. During this time he has operated across the full IT value chain – from Technology Vendor to Consulting Services and Corporate IT. His experience as a senior leader in a plc corporate environment coupled with his ‘Big 4’ consulting background enables Rob to bridge the gap between technologists and business leaders. He helps boards and senior executives to align change programmes and technology investments to maximise delivery of business strategy.
Rob has worked with numerous blue chip companies and has developed deep expertise in the Consumer Business sector. He has led major change programmes and IT strategic planning at Allied Domecq, Philip Morris, Japan Tobacco, Britvic and Gillette.
Rob developed his consulting career at Hewlett-Packard before becoming a Director in Deloitte’s European consulting practise. He was hired by his client (Britvic, an international $2.8bn beverages business) as succession planning for their CIO and spent ten years working in senior leadership roles including five as the Group CIO.
Rob has expertise in IT strategy, Change Management, Target Operating Models, Sourcing, Executive facilitation & alignment, ERP deployment, Vendor Management and Leadership coaching.
