Stephen Green

Stephen is a senior transformation and finance leader with over 35 years’ experience delivering complex, high‑value change across global organisations. He has led major ERP vendor selection and procurement programmes, including a £15m SAP/Oracle/Microsoft global ERP initiative spanning 65 countries, and has served as lead business architect on multiple SAP and Microsoft Dynamics implementations worth over $150m. As part of these SAP and Microsoft programmes, he led global full life cycle software development and rollout, from requirements and design through build, testing, deployment and transition to BAU.

His experience spans finance transformation, restructuring and turnaround. He has resolved material audit and compliance issues and led finance and warehouse transformation for a global education technology company, and restructured failing finance functions in UK retail and healthcare, restoring controls, margins and operational resilience. As Interim CEO and board director of a UK travel company, he transformed a business nearing bankruptcy into a profitable organisation within two years through portfolio rationalisation, improved margin management, finance restructuring and the implementation of a new reservations/CRM platform.

He has designed target operating models and led post‑merger business integration, notably for Sony Music and Bertelsmann Music Group (combined turnover $4bn), and supported $100m Asia expansion as Regional CFO for a global television network, establishing finance, governance and reporting across multiple countries. Having lived and worked in New Zealand, Singapore, London and New York, he brings a strongly international perspective and is comfortable operating across diverse cultural and regulatory environments. Comfortable at board level yet highly hands‑on with teams and vendors, he consistently delivers quantifiable benefits by aligning people, process and technology.
